PS34a-PoE Print Server

PS34a is a multi-port model with one parallel and one USB 2.0 HiSpeed port. The USB interface supports all currently existing USB standards: USB 1.1, USB 2.0 Full Speed (12Mbit/s) and the fastest USB standard USB 2.0 HiSpeed (480Mbit/s).

Then the PS34a print server with both a parallel and a USB 2.0 Port (with separate hub extendable to four) is the perfect solution! It helps to homogenise and simplify management, updates, and maintenance of the printer pool! Moreover, it reduces the number of required network adaptors for the printers.

Power over Ethernet (PoE) Technology
PS34a-PoE is powered via the Ethernet data cable directly, eliminating the need for an external power connection. PoE enables independence from power circuits. Plus, the costs of deployment, extension, and maintenance of networks can be significantly reduced. For all common operating systems: Windows, Apple, Novell, Linux. UTN Feature (USB to Network)
The function USB to Network (UTN) enables PS34a-PoE to make GDI printers and non-network-enabled MFPs available via the network. Users can access such devices just as if they were locally connected. The whole functional range of MFPs (print, copy, scan, fax) is available, too. UTN works independent of printer make and model.
